New Member FAQ's
2 times each week. And they do not have to be the same 2 times each week. Example: You can do a Monday/Wednesday one week, and a Tuesday/Friday another week.

Each stripe signifies a goal the student has met. Stripe 1: 1st half of Poomse Goal. Stripe 2: Second Half of Poomse Goal Stripe 3: Self Defense Goal. Once all the stripes have been earned, students know they are ready for graduation. (White Belts 3rd Stripe signifies they are ready & prepared for graduation, they do not have self defenses)
Color Belt Graduation FAQ’s
Every 10 weeks from white belt to blue belt. After blue belt, graduations are every 20 weeks as curriculum gets more difficult and standards are even higher.
This is a time where your student will be able to show off all they have learned! They will be well prepared to show off their skills, and break their board. Students will receive their new belt and certificate in class the following week.

Black Belt Test FAQ’s
You will receive an invitation to test for your black belt. Black Belt Tests happen twice a year (spring and fall).

Yes. We believe in strong relationships with our students to help them be their best self. You may see our head instructors rotate campuses in order to learn from each other, gain insight from other campuses, and for staff development.
Our instructors are highly trained and qualified TRU staff. As TRU students on the leadership team continue to grow, TRU Headquarters seek out individuals who may be fit for this role.
Our Clemmons Campus is our headquarters. We hold our staff development, team meetings, and leadership trainings here. Clemmons is overseen by Grand Master Douglas where he will invite the head instructors to come teach and learn from himself.
While a blue uniform can be seen on any instructor, they are the main color of our Leadership Team Students.
While a black uniform can be seen on any instructor, they are the main color of our Black Belt Club Members. Black Belt Club Members have been invited to join a commitment of at least 4 years to their membership.
While a red uniform can be seen on the lead instructors, they are the main color of our Master Club Members. Masters Club Members have been invited to join a commitment of at least 6 years to their membership.
